Fall Fun!

These pictures were just rotting in my camera much like the pumpkin on my front step. Even though Hunter was sick we did manage to have a fun halloween!

Hunter was a little duck! We entered it him in the costume contest for the Zeeland Pumpkin fest and he recieved second place! An adroable cup cake beat him out. I had so much fun making his costume and since he only wore it for pictures this year I am hoping it will fit again next year.

Daddy carved Hunter a Mickey Mouse Pumpkin that Hunter absolutly loved. He was so much into the carving and pulling out the pumpkin seeds though. Don't you just love the power tools!

Hunter did love painting his pumpkin this year! Last year he cried when we tried to get him anywhere near a pumpkin.

A BIG THANKS to Uncle Matt and the Fruit and Veggie Ranch for bringing Hunter some pumpkins!

Thankful Thursday's

Today I m thankful for my hearing! It was the best to wake up in a dark room and hear a little giggle from a little boy who just realized he got to sleep with mommy last night!
I am also thankful for my vision although sometimes it requires me to wear glasses it still allows me to see those great big smiles during bathtime!

Thankful Thursday's

I am thankful for my husband. We have learned so much about each other in the last year and we have come so far from what we once were. I am so glad and so thankful that he is mine.

Turkey

Chase was able to bag a Turkey today!

Yummy my mouth is watering already!

Now the question is oven baked or deep fried?

Flashback Friday

Wow I can't believe it!

A Boys Best Friend

Hunter and Ginger have developed quite a bond over the summer. They even have found ways to entertian eachother!

20 Months Old!

I can not believe that our little man is this old already! Hunter is constantly reminding us that he is a big boy and no longer a baby. He is now able to reach almost all the light switches and the phone! He loves sitting on the phone and chatting away to his grandpa talking all about the ducks and fishes and don't forget ABBY. His love for both Abby and Ginger has grown a lot in the last month or so. They too have returned the love and discovered him as a great little person to play catch with all day long.

He is talking all the time and is almost able to carry on a conversation. His biggest thing now is to sing with his favorite songs (twinkle twinkle, I've got the Joy, If your happy and you know it, and the theme song to the wonder pets) It is so cute to hear him singing away in the back seat. He defiantly is a lot smarter then we realize too. He has begun to dress and un-dress himself and can get his shoes on by himself! Were still in the mist of potty training his successes are hit and miss but he does let us know every time he is going... I'm sure he will catch on soon.

Recently after watching a Hunting show with daddy he learned what an Elk says. Next time you see him you will have to ask him, it is too stinking cute!

As fast as he is growing and changing I am so thankful for the sweet little moments when he only wants mommy and we can just sit and snuggle.

After reading about the Lamar Twins I am ever more thankful that we have come as far as we did. Hearing them talk about CPAP, PICC lines, and Kangaroo Care it brings back so many memories and lots of tears. Please keep those little girls in your prayers!

Hearts

What are we up to today?

Well lets see my Dad had a heart attack on the 25th while in North Dakota and on the 28th Hunter and I discovered we had H1N1, All while Chase was in Missouri Hunting. That pretty much mad it the worst weekend ever! Chase being the best husband in the world cut his hunting trip short and came home that friday just in case we were going to need to fly out to ND. It was so nice to have him home to help me through it all. If you don't know already my Dad is my best friend and even though I knew he most likey would have had a heart attack at some point it was still a shock and a big one at that. It was horrible not being there and having to play telephone tag to find out whats going on. Thankfully my Dad is back home now. His arteries were 90% blocked and he had 4 stints put in. As long as he sticks to therapy and his new diet he should make a full recovery!
The Swine flu although its not the worst thing ever it wasn't fun. (FYI its not so much throwing up nasty flu as it is really bad cold symptoms with a fever, so stay home with a cold and wash your hands!) All three of us were home and stuck in the house for a whole week. Were back to work and Linda's now though. Hunter was left with that nasty rattle in his chest so we are continuing on with breathing treatments 4 times a day...

My fear is that his breathing is going to get worse or he will catch something else on top of it and end up with pheumonia. So for now we are avoiding public places and no sunday school for Hunter. We go back to the doctor next week.
On a brighter note Chase just finished his second to last class, only five more weeks to go!!! We are so proud of how hard he works. He truly is an amazing husband and father.
Here is some of our fall fun!

Hello I really am Alive

So sorry its been so rediculously long since I have posted anything! We had an extremly busy summer and even though I was only working 3 days a week I tried to spend as much time a possible playing and teaching Hunter. It was truly a blast! So hang in there while I get back up to speed!
